Anticuchos – Peruvian beef kabob

Arroz con Leche – Rice pudding

Barbacoa – barbecue

Carne - beef


Cebiche - Seafood marinated in citrus juice

Chorizo – spicy sausage

Churro – Sweet bread dusted with sugar and cinnamon

Empanada – fried dough filled with beef, chicken, cheese or other meats and vegetables


Esquites - Buttery corn with Lime and Chile

Hojaldre – Puff Pastry

Maduros con Queso - Yellow ripe plantains slowly sauteed in canola oil until golden brown served with white cheese
